Charlie's been through a lot in the last few months. After being kidnapped, finding out her husband's still alive, escaping from another near death experience while visiting Lexi (her best friend) and finally coming back to her 'underground bunker' inside the FBI headquarters in L.A., she just wants time to relax and be normal again. If not for her then definitely for her kids.
With her supposed ‘late’ husband being brought in, Charlie readies herself for the closure she’s been wanting for years. And with everything going on in Lexi’s life, Charlie tries to ease the tension only to make things worse. She finds comfort in the arms of a friend while trying to take things to a whole new level. Will her boring life be enough for the man she loves?

I accidentally discovered Kiahana through Kindle and blew through her first two novels in two days! Kiahana is my new fav writer! I Love how she really gets you into the mind or the mentality of the characters without being overly detailed and how easily it is for woman (well, easily for me esp being a strong, independant young woman) to identify with the heroines and relate to the male characters. I do like this third book, but I feel like it was more of a short story or perhaps there was too much minimizing in the editing room or something because the plot and conclusion felt abrupt and, I really feel, fell short of the first two books. I look forward to continuing with Lexi and Ralph's story and hope there is more to Charlie and Steve's new tale.Product details

Charlie and Steve are now my new OTP! Just kidding. -) I love both Charlie and Steve, and Lexi and Ralph. Since book 2 Charlie and Steve have had an undeniable connection, although they were always awkward around one another. I guess that sometimes happens when you have feelings for someone, but are afraid of starting something new. I loved the challenge that was shown with Steve being afraid to open up to Charlie. In the end Closure shows that if you open your heart someone will come in and repair the damage that has been done to it. <3
I'm glad Charlie got the closure that she wanted and deserved. She basically closed one door and opened up another. An important thing I can't ignore is that since book 1 Charlie has always been a great mother to her children. She hasn't let any road blocks or complications in her life stop her from being the best mother she can be. Therefore, Charlie wins The Mother of the Century Award. She deserves it and so much more.
Yet another great book by Kiahana. Loved that Charlie finally gets some! ha ha. But seriously its a great read check it out and her other Mark of Promise books. You wont be disappointed!
I loved reading Closure! Even though it's a short... It still has the cliff hanger of wanting more for the next M.O.P. book. This book has all the major key people in it, it kept me up to date on Lexi, Ralph and Lexis' dad and something to look forward to in book 3. Kiahana is an amazing writer/author and I have really enjoyed reading this series and hope to read some other books written by her in the future....
I simply love that I own every one of Kiahana's awesome books! They are so entertaining and enjoyable! This short novel was a fun glimpse into Charlie's character, and her growing love for the FBI agent watching over her and her children. I'm always a fan of a good love story and this author never disappoints!!! As always, can't wait for more....
Wasn't terrible but the writer needs to work on their craft. I got the impression that the writer is young and does not know what it means to behave professionally in a work environment. The phrasing is ackward, "he gave her a strict smile", and detracts from the story. I'm not sure what a strict smile even means and get the impression that the writer doesn't know the definition of strict. In several instances the wrong words were used warn carperting instead of worn carpeting, conceded instead of conceited... I bought the book based off of the other reviews which was a mistake. I struggled to finish the story, it did not hold my interest and I wished the writer had been more liberal with the use of a dictionairy or that an editor had gone over the work.
