I like this author's characters and her style of writing. I plan to read more of her books in the future. I hope she writes Stella and Ashton's story, too.

This book was a nice quick read. The story itself wasn't so bad, I do wish it was more developed though and also edited. Once I started seeing all the misspelled words and the plot going on so fast, a few contradictions here and there, I knew and editor probably didn't touch this book. The story is hurried and the girl too obedient but again, it was okay.
What a cute sexy book. Updated western Romeo and Juliette about a 100 yr old fued between 2 families. Beau and Charlotte are in love and the families don't know. The families hate each other but Charlotte`family have lost everything to a tornado and Beau offers Charlotte a way to help them.
Good story
This is a good enemies to friends modern cowboy romance that kept me entertained and intrigued from beginning to end. I enjoyed watching Beau and Charlotte's love story unfold and look forward to reading more from this talented author. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Beau and Charlotte destined to find love into each other. Bad blood between the families means nothing. They find love,acceptance and family they never imagined that they could have. When a tornado threats the families, they find the true meaning of love. After the storm they realize nothing is more important then family. They found something that they never expected.... family and love with their bitter enemies!!
So good! Who said you can't change a tigers strips. Beau is a the quintessential mans man with his no strings attached hook ups. While Charlotte is a sweet innocent vet student home to help her family recover from a tornado and has given no time in her life to anything but studying and work. Charlotte a Beau have chemistry right off the bat, to bad their families have been feuding for a hundred years. This story is everything you want in an evening read.
I really liked this book. The characters were great, well developed and the storyline was so good.
Charlotte is called home after a tornado destroyed her family's ranch. Her family needs her to help them move forward and get things settled.
Beau Hill see's Charlotte with new eyes when he see's her for the first time in 4 years. He doesn't know how he will do it, but he has to get her to stay.
There were some confusing aspects though. Was it Jake Jr or Jack Jr?! His name seemed to change from beginning to end. There were quite. Few typo's that were distracting. It needed just a little editing.
Beau & Charlotte make you love them instantly. He is cowboy who figures out what he wants and goes after it. The Hill family has a ranch across the street from their sworn enemies the Deardon's. One of whom happens to be Charlotte, the object of Beau's affection. She is a sassy Vet student who is almost finish with school, and ready to return to her beloved family ranch in Montana. But a unexpected tornado would bring Charlotte home and change everything for both families. One family will lose everything, while the other deals with two types of health isses Type 1 diabetes and Alzheimer's. With the youngest generation not having direct knowledge of or caring about old family rivalries Beau and Charlotte began a relationship that will forever change both families for the better. I have many of Emerson's books and I have yet to be disappointed or left wondering what that it. She always proves the best escape with characters that allow you to become a part of their world, seeking that happily ever after.
